Installing the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for macOS
In this exercise, download and install the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub on your macOS device.
1. Log In to the MacBook - If Needed
Login to the macOS device. If you are using a VMworld provided device, the login details are below.
- Enter
VMware1!
for the password. - Press the continue button or press
ENTER
.
2. Download the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub
Click the Safari icon (blue compass) to open the Safari browser.
2.1. Initiate Download
- Enter
https://www.getwsone.com
in the URL field, then pressENTER
. - Click Download Hub under the macOS section. The Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub installer begins to download and will save to the downloads folder by default.
2.2. Allow Downloads (IF NEEDED)
If prompted to allow downloads from getwsone.com, click Allow. Otherwise, continue to the next step.
3. Install the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub
- Click the Downloads folder in the dock (next to the Trash Bin).
- Click the VMwareWorkspaceONEIntelligentHub.pkg file to begin the installer.
3.1. Continue at Introduction Screen
Click Continue.
3.2. Continue and Agree to Terms
- On the License page, click Continue.
- Click Agree (to the license terms).
3.3. Select Destination
Keep the default Install for all users of this computer selected and click Continue.
3.4. Begin Install
Click Install.
3.5. Provide Credentials for the Installer
- Click Install. You are now prompted to enter the computers administrator credentials.
- Enter the username for your device. For VMworld devices, enter
administrator
in the Name field. - Enter the username for your device. For VMworld devices, enter
VMware1!
in the Password field. - Click the Install Software button.
3.6. Close and Move to Trash
- Click Close when the installer finishes.
- Click Move to Trash to move the installer to the trash.
