Overview of Cloud Monitoring Service

The Cloud Monitoring Service collects and stores session, application, and desktop data from connected pods for monitoring and reporting purposes.

Cloud Monitoring Service Benefits

  • See all Horizon deployments in a single UI
  • Provides tools to troubleshoot user issues
  • Review current state of global deployment at a glance
  • Quickly drill into details by navigating the simple UI

Controlling the Behavior of CMS

The Cloud Monitoring Service feature in Horizon Cloud enables you to control if and how data about your deployment is collected and displayed. Disabling the Cloud Monitoring Service prevents the collection and storage of any new data from your deployments. Disabling Session Data obscures collected data that would allow administrators to tie session information back to an individual user, and prevents these values from being displayed in reports.
